Dr. Jay L. Korach, M.D., is a board-certified staff radiologist for Open Advanced MRI.
Dr. Korach has been a practicing radiologist for over 10 years. His specialty is cross-sectional imaging and musculo-skelatal radiology. Dr. Korach performs invasive radiological techniques including arthrograms.
Dr. Korach completed his undergraduate work at the University of Illinois Champaign/Urbana where he graduated Phi Beta Kappa and Cum Laude. He received his medical degree from the University of Illinois College of Medicine at Chicago. He did his residency in diagnostic radiology at the Loyola University Medical Center and completed a fellowship in MRI at Northwestern University Medical Center. He also completed an internship in internal medicine at Lutheran General Hospital.
Dr. Korach is affiliated with, and active in, numerous professional societies. Chief among these are the American College of Radiology, The Illinois Radiological Society where he is on the Committee for Tort Reform, and the Clinical Magnetic Resonance Society. He is also Vice President of the Chicago Radiological Society.
Dr. Korach is a Chicago native with a passion for the Chicago Bulls.
