When getting the best image requires a CT,
we have exactly what you need.
What is CT?
CT combines x-ray energy with computer technology to provide a safe and painless look inside your body. CT or "CAT" scan technology takes detailed images of the body in a series of 3-D cross sections—like a loaf of thinly sliced bread.
When is a CT used?
Our CT scanner produces images in very high speed. That's why it's often used when doctors need speed to capture images of soft, moving tissue. A CT is frequently used to examine the thorax, abdomen or pelvis.
How is CT different from MRI?
For patients, the primary difference is time. CT exams only take a few minutes.
